I started my Veterinary career in Newcastle and Sydney, then journeyed South to Tasmania where I had my own clinic for 5 years.

I re-converted to a “mainlander” in 2018, and took the plunge when Raf and I made a pact to follow our dreams to live big. We moved from Sydney to sunny Gold Coast wanting to create a happy clinic. Somewhere where staff and clients alike can feel heard, seen, and empowered in order to become the best animal welfare advocates they can be.

I understand the power of the animal-human bond, and hope to work with you to achieve best outcomes.

Raf and I co-parents Myrtle the Chocolate Vizsla, and Ella the Eclectus Parrot.

Dr Jenna

Veterinarian

Dr Jenna graduated from Murdoch University in 2018 and has spent the last 4 years working in busy small animal practices in Perth.Jenna has recently made the move to the Gold Coast with her husband and cat, Roo.

Jenna loves all things soft tissue surgery and has a special interest in ultrasonography. But also loves chatting to clients and developing new relationships with pets and their owners.

Outside of work, Jenna loves spending time with family, SUP boarding and travelling.

Dr. Mark Tredrea is a dedicated and experienced veterinarian with 25 years of expertise in veterinary medicine. He graduated from the University of Queensland with a degree in Veterinary Science and has since devoted his career to animal health and wellness. Dr. Tredrea has a special interest in surgery and dentistry, ensuring that pets receive expert care in these critical areas.

As a passionate pet owner himself, Dr. Tredrea understands the deep bond between pets and their families. He has a Devon Rex cat named Ellie and a Cattle Dog cross named Penny, who inspire his commitment to providing the highest standard of care for all pets. His extensive knowledge, combined with his empathetic approach, ensures that every pet receives personalized and effective care.

I might be very new to the Vet Industry (and so far, loving it) but I have always been very passionate about animal welfare and wellbeing. I grew up in a house full of love and marvelous pets.

For most of my adult life I worked in Education, preparing new generations of leaders. Now, I have decided to use my skills and knowledge to provide ongoing support to my partner Karen. Together we hope to build a happy clinic. A place where we can provide the best possible service and care to all our clients (regardless if they are on two or four legs). A place where staff, clients and pets feel welcome, appreciated and looked after.

I am a lover of all animals, and care passionately about their health and welfare. I have completed my certificate IV in veterinary nursing. 

I had a dream from a young age of caring for animals , so here I am!

I'm excited to be a part of the team at Ashmore city Vets, where I can expand my skills and knowledge while providing your pets with all the love and care as if they were my own.

I am a mum of 2 young, energetic children. On my days off, we enjoy bike riding, camping and going to the beach.

I'm originally from Canberra but, after doing a bit of travelling, I moved to Gold Coast for the weather about 5 years ago.

I've had pets here and there as a kid, but really found my passion for animals since fostering with the Animal Welfare League of Queensland. I've fostered over 100 cats and kittens since 2019, specialising in pregnant queens and neonates.

I recently completed my Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing studies. When I'm not at the clinic, I enjoy playing piano or banjo, video games, cooking, or doing musical theatre.

I began my Vet Nurse journey in 2014 whilst living in a small country town. Having always had pets and a love for animals, a career in the animal industry surrounding myself and being an advocate was the obvious choice. I completed my Cert IV in 2018 and began working for a Specialst/Emergency hospital, where over the last 5 years have seen some incredible things our industry is capable of for our beloved fur children. I am very passionate about animal welfare and prioritise gold standard of care with lots of cuddles of course.

I have 2 boys at home, we are all car enthusiasts and in our spare time we love camping and anything outdoors. I don't currently have any pets but I have had a menagerie over my adult life including dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, fish, Guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, ducks, chickens, goats and have fostered greyhounds and neonate animals in the past.

I look forward to seeing you in the clinic.

Growing up on a sheep and cattle property I never wanted to be anything but a vet nurse. 

I spent most of my vet nursing career in mixed practices in Western NSW.

I also spent some time breeding Labrador Retrievers mainly supplying NSW Guide Dogs and the Police force. I enjoyed showing my Labs and competing in obedience and agility trials.  

Due to family commitments my career path changed to management of pet supply stores on the Gold Coast, and now I'm back to my true love of vet nursing 

I'm mother to Molly the Labradoodle and Grandmother to Olive the boxer x who lives with me part-time.

Hi there, I'm Diane, one of the friendly nurses here at Ashmore City Vets. My animal adventure began in 2017 when I started studying animal care, and it's been a joyful journey ever since. They say if you love what you do, it never feels like work, and I couldn't agree more.

My heart truly belongs to our furry friends. Since I was a little girl, I've been enchanted by animals. I was lucky enough to grow up on a small farm surrounded by horses, cows, pigs, dogs, and chickens. That's where my passion for all creatures, big and small, began to bloom.

What brings me the most happiness is helping our patients be the best and healthiest versions of themselves. I believe in nurturing the special bond between pets and their owners, and it's a privilege to be a part of that journey.

When I'm not at the clinic, you'll find me whipping up delicious meals, taking leisurely walks with my faithful sidekick, Rusty (my shadow and four-legged buddy), enjoying a refreshing dip in the ocean, and spending quality time with friends and my wonderful partner.

Hello everyone, my name is Daniela, and I’m a veterinarian graduated in Ecuador. My unconditional love for animals led me to pursue this incredible profession and after completing my studies, I worked for almost a year as a veterinarian. I have experience primarily with small animal species but I am passionate about wildlife and exotic species.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of animals. Currently, I have been working as a Veterinary Nurse in Australia for almost two years, where I continue to expand my knowledge and skills in animal care, preparing to validate my degree.

In my free time, I love going out dancing, enjoying the beach and above all, traveling and gaining new experiences.

Hi!! My name is Thalita, but you can call me Thali =) 

I worked as a Vet Nurse in Brazil while I was studying my Veterinary Bachelor, which I completed in 2022, and worked as a Vet for 6 months. 

I love animals! Any type. They make our lifes happier.   

I love new experiences, that’s why I decided to leave all my life back home and start a new one here in this amazing country.  

When I’m not working, I love spending time doing exercises and sunbathing at the beach.

Hello! My name is Myrtle, other times Myrtle Turtle, sometimes Magic Myrtle. Mum gets lazy and calls me Mert for short. I am told I am one of the best dogs out there, and I believe it.

I am a down to earth girl with normal interests like balls and sticks

I also love lizards - aren't they just fantastic?

I used to love catching flies, but now only if they land on me

I love sniffing around in the forest when we go bushwalking

I also love the river, oh and swimming in general

Did I say I love lizards?

I go to work with mum and dad on a near daily basis, I am a good nurse. I try my best not to eat other animal's food when I'm at work.
